This can be slightly corrected via input binding software bind Mouse4 as Mouse5 in an input binding program, however you won't be able to bind Mouse5 to anything else.
Not being able to bind movement to the up, down, left and right keys from the original is gone, but there is now a bug where bouth Mouse 5 and Mouse4 input is read as Mouse 5 when rebinding keys.
